Dear Sister,
You are not forgotten.
Not by people who truly see you.
And never by God.
Even in the seasons you felt invisible, He was holding you.
The Bible says:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love.” — Jeremiah 31:3
🤍 Sis, you are chosen.

Dear Sister ✦
Rebuilding your life doesn’t mean starting from nothing.
It means starting from experience, from survival, from lessons you never asked to learn.
I know sometimes it feels like you are behind.
Like everyone else figured life out and you are just trying to breathe again.
But healing is not failure.
Starting again isn’t weakness.
And taking time to rebuild yourself isn’t being lost,
it’s being brave.
God is not asking you to rush your healing.
He is walking with you while you rebuild.
Piece by piece.
Day by day.
Prayer by prayer.
You are not too late.
You are not too damaged.
You are not too far gone.
✦
Dear Sister, if this spoke to your heart,
I wrote you a full letter on the blog.

💌 Dear Sister,
There was a time I ran to people for comfort.
I ran to love that felt intense.
To attention that felt validating.
To relationships that felt like rescue.
But they left me anxious.
Confused.
Unsettled.
And slowly, God showed me something:
If it feels chaotic, it’s not Him.
If it makes you shrink, it’s not Him.
If it steals your peace, it’s not love.
When I stopped running to people and started running to God, everything changed.
He didn’t rush me.
He didn’t manipulate me.
He didn’t abandon me.
He stayed.
In the silence.
In the tears.
In the rebuilding.
God became my safe place, not because life stopped being hard, but because I finally stopped looking for safety in unstable hands.
“The Lord is my refuge and my fortress.” — Psalm 91:2
Dear Sister, if he makes you anxious, run to God.
If it confuses you, run to God.
If it drains you, run to God.
The peace you’re searching for in people was always found in Him.
🤍

Sometimes what feels like “love” is actually a trauma bond.
It feels intense. Addictive. Hard to leave.
But God’s love doesn’t confuse you.
It doesn’t isolate you.
It doesn’t wound you and call it romance.
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”
— 1 Corinthians 14:33
If it steals your peace, constantly triggers your anxiety, and pulls you away from who God created you to be… it is not love.
God’s love restores.
God’s love protects.
God’s love brings clarity.
Dear Sister, you deserve a love that feels safe, not chaotic.
And the first safe love you will ever know is His. 🤍

Dear Sister was born from my healing journey and my relationship with God.
I’ve lived through trauma, loss, abuse, and seasons where I felt completely alone. But God met me there. He held me, restored me, and healed parts of me I thought were beyond repair.
I created Dear Sister for the girl I used to be and for every woman who needs to remember that God sees her, loves her, and has not forgotten her.
This space is here to remind you:
You are not broken.
You are not too much.
And your story does not end in pain.
With love,
Josefina 🤍

Dear Sister,
Healing starts when you stop hiding your pain from God.
You don’t have to be strong first.
You don’t have to be “fixed” first.
You just have to be honest.
God is not afraid of your wounds.
He meets you inside them.
If this is where your heart is today…

Dear Sister ✦
I created this page for the girl I used to be.
The girl who survived pain in silence.
The girl who experienced loss.
The girl who went through trauma… and still kept going.
I didn’t have guidance.
I didn’t have protection.
I didn’t have someone teaching me what red flags look like.
So I became the voice I needed back then.
Here we talk about:
🚩 red flags you should never ignore
🤍 self-love & boundaries

📖 letters that feel like a hug
If you ever felt alone in your story…
you’re not alone anymore.
Welcome home, sister. ✦
