💌 Dear Sister,
There was a time I ran to people for comfort.
I ran to love that felt intense.
To attention that felt validating.
To relationships that felt like rescue.
But they left me anxious.
Confused.
Unsettled.
And slowly, God showed me something:
If it feels chaotic, it’s not Him.
If it makes you shrink, it’s not Him.
If it steals your peace, it’s not love.
When I stopped running to people and started running to God, everything changed.
He didn’t rush me.
He didn’t manipulate me.
He didn’t abandon me.
He stayed.
In the silence.
In the tears.
In the rebuilding.
God became my safe place, not because life stopped being hard, but because I finally stopped looking for safety in unstable hands.
“The Lord is my refuge and my fortress.” — Psalm 91:2
Dear Sister, if he makes you anxious, run to God.
If it confuses you, run to God.
If it drains you, run to God.
The peace you’re searching for in people was always found in Him.
🤍

Dear sister, before anyone loved you, God did.

Sometimes what feels like “love” is actually a trauma bond.
It feels intense. Addictive. Hard to leave.
But God’s love doesn’t confuse you.
It doesn’t isolate you.
It doesn’t wound you and call it romance.
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”
— 1 Corinthians 14:33
If it steals your peace, constantly triggers your anxiety, and pulls you away from who God created you to be… it is not love.
God’s love restores.
God’s love protects.
God’s love brings clarity.
Dear Sister, you deserve a love that feels safe, not chaotic.
And the first safe love you will ever know is His. 🤍

Trauma bonds feel intense.
God’s love feels peaceful.
“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.”
— 1 Corinthians 14:33
If it constantly makes you anxious, unsettled, and afraid…
pray before you return to it.
Ask God for discernment.
Peace is your confirmation.

Dear Sister,
If you have ever asked yourself, who am I, and why am I here? If you have ever felt lonely, abandoned, rejected, used, or hopeless, cling to THIS verse! God wants you to know you are His.

Dear Sister,
Self-love is choosing peace
over explanation,
rest over guilt,
and truth over approval.

Dear Sister,
this year, don’t rush yourself.
Don’t pressure your becoming.
Put God first. Not out of fear, but out of trust.
Trust that when He leads, you won’t have to force doors, people, or timing.
Let go of the need to control every outcome.
What’s meant for you will meet you where you are.
What’s not will quietly fall away.
Set your goals with intention.
Grow at your own pace.
Glow without asking for permission.
Dear Sister, may 2026 be the year you choose alignment over anxiety, peace over performance, and faith over fear.
One prayer at a time.
One step at a time.
God first. Everything else follows 🤍

Dear Sister, be still.
Not because everything is perfect,
but because God is present.
You don’t have to rush your healing.
You don’t have to force answers.
In the quiet, God is already at work.
Let this be your reminder today:
stillness is not doing nothing
it’s choosing trust.
🤍 Psalm 46:10

Dear Sister was born from my healing journey and my relationship with God.
I’ve lived through trauma, loss, abuse, and seasons where I felt completely alone. But God met me there. He held me, restored me, and healed parts of me I thought were beyond repair.
I created Dear Sister for the girl I used to be and for every woman who needs to remember that God sees her, loves her, and has not forgotten her.
This space is here to remind you:
You are not broken.
You are not too much.
And your story does not end in pain.
With love,
Josefina 🤍

Sometimes pain convinces us that we are disqualified.
That what we went through made us less worthy, less pure, less chosen.
But God is not scared of your past.
He is not shocked by your wounds.
He is not waiting for you to be “fixed” before He loves you.
God restores.
God rebuilds.
God makes beauty from places that were once broken.
Your scars are not proof that you are ruined.
They are proof that you survived, and that God carried you when you didn’t even realise it.
You are still chosen.
Still loved.
Still called.
Still worthy of the life God prepared for you.
Healing does not disqualify you.
It is part of your becoming.
